About us
Sail Croatia originated in 2003 as a London based charter agency, on the back of
a desire to reveal the most exciting locations in the Adriatic that, namely, the
many islands that, until then, weren’t extensively covered by guide books and larger
tour operators.
In 2005 we decided to set up our own charter operation, in order to deliver exactly
the experience we wanted our guests to have when visiting Croatia, and started off
with 7 sailing yachts in a brand new marina in Split.
Today, Sail Croatia’s core fleet comprises of 38 yachts, between 32 and 54 feet,
along with our flagship Ferretti 760 and 881 motor yachts which both offer a truly luxurious way
of experiencing the Croatian islands.
Our charter agency in the UK is now A Hidden Croatia Company, allowing Sail Croatia
clients to take advantage of all the resources and products available from one of
the country's leading specialist tour operators.

Andrew Moscatelli – Hidden Croatia Charter Manager, UK Sailing holidays
Originally from Australia, Andrew is our enthusiastic
newcomer from Australia, with a wealth of experience in organising yacht charter
holidays

Matilda Vidic – Head of Trade Sales
One of the veterans of the charter industry in Croatia, Matilda has over 10 years
of experience in delivering sailing holidays to the most demanding of specifications.
She has personally organised thousands of holidays for anyone from families and
friends to large corporate groups and even Heads of State
Anton Drazin – Operative manager for bases Kaštela & Šibenik
A stalwart of Sail Croatia’s ground operation, Anton is responsible for the technical
readiness of our yachts as well as the marina operation as a whole. During his time
with Sail Croatia he has worked in almost every operational role before taking on
his duties as Base Manager in 2007. Anton also makes the finest “Prosecco” (sweet
wine) in the Split region, not to be missed
Djani Zaninovic – Captain (Luxury charters)
Djani is involved in all of our luxury motor yacht charters and is the captain of
our Ferretti motor yacht – Turgarka. A gregarious, yet consummate professional, Djani
has led his crew from strength to strength over the last two years. Not content
with just sailing the Adriatic, Djani is also a qualified diving instructor, and
flies aeroplanes in his spare time
Vittorio S Radnic – Captain
With over 8 years of experience in charter and the last 3 years working as a captain on crewed motor yachts. Vittirio is an experienced sailor and often takes part in Regattas. He has excellent knowledge of Adriatic Sea and the waters surrounding Italy and Greece. Fluent in English, Italian and a bit of Spanish. Before becoming captain of ‘Dust’ he worked for Croatian government as bodyguard for Prime minister and also spent 6 years in the US as restaurant manager of a cruise ship as well as working in Miami and Orlando. Vittorio is always friendly, discreet and at your disposal.
Silvijo Kuzmar – Chef
Silvijo is the fully qualified chef of our yacht kitchen. With more than 20 years of experience in various gulets including M/Y "ELBRAVO" in Monte Carlo from 2000 – 2003 and M/Y "ILIKI VII" from 2003 – 2005 as well as yachts, specialising in Dalmatian cuisine. Silvijo has also cooked for Densel Washington and Clint Eastwood during the Cannes Film Festival and speaks fluent Italian and English. Not only has he worked with some of the best chefs in Europe but he’s also an experienced sailor and a great deckhand, but above all he is a great chef!
Ivana Paar – Stewardess
Ivana is the newest member of the team and has just completed her Bachelors Degree in Economics at Split University. She speaks fluent English and German, and is an excellent stewardess, happy to fulfil any request.
