Whether in sales or base operations, the Sail Croatia Team is comprised of committed, positive and professional individuals, who form an integral part of the Sail Croatia culture and we’d like to introduce you to a few key members:

One of the co-founders of Sail Croatia, Luka has been part of the company’s development from its inception.

A man of many talents, he won a gold medal in the coxed eights at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, as a member of the British rowing team. He remains a corner stone of our company.

A former B2B Director of Croatia’s largest tour operator and a recent MBA graduate, Elvir is the latest addition to the Sail Croatia management team. Born in Germany, Elvir was once a member of the Eintracht Frankfurt youth football team. 
After catching the sailing bug, Elvir has now settled in Split with his wife and 4 year old twins.

A stalwart of Sail Croatia’s ground operation, Anton is responsible for the technical readiness of our yachts as well as the marina operation as a whole. During his time with Sail Croatia he has worked in almost every operational role before taking on his duties as Base Manager in 2007. Anton also makes the finest “Prosecco” (sweet wine) in the Split region, not to be missed.

One of the veterans of the charter industry in Croatia, Matilda has over 10 years of experience in delivering sailing holidays to the most demanding of specifications.
She has personally organised thousands of holidays for anyone from families and friends to large corporate groups and even Heads of State

Katarina has been with Sail Croatia since 2006, progressing steadily in her career and professionalism. She is our Office Manager, best described as “the person we call when something goes wrong”. Besides her commitment to high quality and attention for detail, Katarina also brings a positive and “can-do” attitude into our office every day! 

Jelena may be seen as a girl with many talents. Jelena likes translating 17th century poetry, writing her own poems and novels, and spear fishing. All of this while being a mum to a very handsome 4 year old boy - Antoni.  Her favourite quote: "At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since..."

Regina is the latest addition to our team. She is professionally involved in women a-capella singing with the group "Tamarin".
She certainly is the right person to sell a sailing holiday, having a special passion for the sea and sailing ever since she was a very young girl. She enjoys dancing, and wearing a big smile everywhere she goes. 

Vlado is our Transfer manager...and a great gentleman. He is known for his positive attitude and a very bright approach to everything he does. If you are looking for a ride, for a helping hand, or just a nice word - he is the man to call!

Tonči joined Sail Croatia 3 years ago and is in charge of 8 sailing boats in our fleet. He started work in charter 7 years ago and developed a great attention for detail and professionalism in everything he does. He comes from a long family line with their roots in Kaštela near Split.

Ante is excellent in technological disciplines and with a vast of attention he takes care about Sailcroatia fleet. He loves all about sea and boats which allows him a great deal of imagination in his daily routines. Ante is from the old Split family Krstulović. He enjoys playing BALOTE (a game similar to Pétanque played locally in Dalmatia).

Marko looks after 8 boats in our fleet. He has been involved with sailing charter for many years and is a huge fan of the sea and sailing.

Marko is a mechanic with a lot of experience in working with charter boats. He is also the owner of a 40 year old wooden sailing ship. He looks after the overall technical functionality of the Sail Croatia fleet. 

Luka is in charge of 8 boats in the fleet. Besides working for Sail Croatia, he is also preparing a university thesis on sea management. He has already completed his schooling for managing yachts and marinas.

Stanko is new member to our team.

He is in charge of seven boats in the our fleet and for all tasks marked by great diligence. Besides working for SC Stanko also love flying in sport airplanes and he would like to build his own flying machine. What else to say except that he is very very funny and assiduous team member.

Marina looks after our accounting and finance dealings. She enjoys travelling and meeting different cultures and customs, nature, sea, sun and beaches! Marina loves barbecuing with friends and has mastered baking cakes as part of her relaxation techniques. However, do not be fooled by this "Baking relaxes me" revelation – in her next life she would like to be an F1 driver.

Nataly has recently joined us, and her accounting and financing skills are a welcome addition to our team . She loves singing, walking and enjoys crime novels and movies.

She enjoys creating flower arrangements, and also drawing for her little daughter.
