Tugarka Crew

Tugarka is undoubtedly one of the finest motor yachts in Croatian waters, and chartering her is a unique experience. She sails under the careful guidance of her captain Djani Zaninovic, supported by 3 crew: Tomislav Baus - engineer/ deckhand, Ivan Krnic - chef and Ana Bonkovic - stewardess.

Over 11 years of experience in charter, last 8 years works as a captain on crewed motor yachts, also experienced sailor on sailing yachts, often on Regattas including solo regatta sailing, excellent knowledge of Adriatic sea and its secrets, speaks fluent English, German and a bit of Italian, 2 star diver, glider pilot, father of two lovely little girls, friendly, discrete and always at your disposal,… E-mail: djani@sailcroatia.net

In charter since 1997, started as deckhand on sailing yachts and slowly ended up as the Captain on motor yachts. Last 11 years worked as a Captain on motor yachts up to 110“. Experienced sailor, often on offshore and inshore regatta's, excellent knowledge of Adriatic sea and Med. Speaks fluent English, Italian and German.

Thanks’ to a rich career and experience in navigation, charter and crew management he became a new member of our team who will share the responsibility with our Master Captain, Đani Zaninović.

Goran Rogulj, a new member of our crew, started in early February to familiarize himself with the yacht thru annual docking and seasonal preparations.

He started his career back in 2004 as a skipper on sailing boats and smaller power boats. Thru charter business he upgraded himself and became a skipper on a 62“sailing boat. Due to the facts that he is excellent engineer and deckhand, very well familiarized with Adriatic and yachts, very good in relations with guests & crew he became our new crew member.

A man with skipper experience, calm, polite and reliable is all that a yacht captain would like to have on deck and in engine room. Speaks fluent English.

Qualified and excellent chef of our yacht kitchen, 14 years of experience in various restaurants (Germany, Slovenia, Croatia), yachts and mega yachts, specialized in Dalmatian kitchen, worked with best Dalmatian chefs, ready to fulfill any of your wishes.

Speaks German, Slovenian and good English, currently improving his English, experienced sailor and great deckhand but before anything else a great chef who is always at your disposal for any of your wishes,…

Ivana Karabatić is our new/old crew member. She was a stewardess on our „old“ yacht, Ferretti 760, MY Dust thru season 2007 where she had a great feedback from guests and captain. After season 2007 she went on a 62“ Sunseekeer, then ended up on a 108“ San Lorenzo where she upgraded herself on higher level of service.

B.A. degree in economy, major in tourism, 5 seasons on motor yachts was more than enough for us to refresh the crew. Always at your disposal, fast and efficient, just as required on yachts. Speaks fluent English and a bit of Italian.
